One step at a time
Quick blast through the rock gym at New Rochelle with Guillaume today. Still regaining my endurance and lead head after a few weeks of nothing but eating, drinking, and laying around. We warmed-up on a 9 and fought through a tricky, sequency overhanging 10 on lead. I tested Guillaume's lead belay prowess with a fall from an awkward upside-down horizontal stance at the third bolt of an 11+, and I am (really) glad to say he passed with flying colors. He then proceeded to school me on an 11 TR to rub it in.
At least the music was better; Megan was back and controlling the dials... The flow is coming back to me slowly but surely, hopefully I'll be in gear for the Gunks this weekend!

Glad to hear you're ok (you failed to mention that you ended up 3 feet off the deck).
Ha, talking to Guillaume, I see. Wasn't nearly as scary for me as it was for him, probably...
geez, glad you weren't a pancake
