Jedi Masters Frechette and Louie
There was some good work at The Rock Club today with Jedi Masters Frechette and Louie working on crazy leads that crossed under the arch. This resulted in at least one really good fall by Master Louie after a long awkward, fully extended reach for a hard clip. Brian and I started on the top rope where Brian schooled a 5.11 and I didn't fall off a 5.9. Later Dr. Lau rocked the lead while I worked some 5.10s. But just to put rest of us on top rope in our place, Master Frechette almost flashed a 5.11 recommended by Megan and pulled a beautiful move on the red-yellow 5.11(a)? that has a crazy cross along the arch edge. The route caused Master Louie some trouble but from somewhere a small voice followed Master Frechette saying "There is no 'try' only do or do not." The force was strong in them today.
Next week the bouldering circuit competition begins so hopefully we'll make it up Tuesdays to test and improve our skills. I'll be happy getting past the V1s...

As usual, my fruit brother shows no respect for his elders...
And I refuse the passing of the lightsaber, that is not how it works! You are forever the master, even in death you are supposed to come back as a ghost/spirit like entity.
