Testing Style

Two solid classes of test preparation today. We worked on basic Aikido techniques through the first class and through all the weapons during the second class. The Aikido is coming together and beginning to feel more alive--though definitely in some techniques more than others. The weapons is even more split. The forms are finally solid and I feel like the details are falling into place but they are much further from feeling truly alive. I think if I had more time in the dojo (or hadn't lost time to my knee) I'd wait another month or two, but it's clear that probably time. And people keep telling me to take the test... now I need to order an Hakama.
