So Silly
Lacking a proper CF workout today, Kenway and I created our own
warmup:
barbell complex @ 60#
2x10 back squat (95, 115)
workout:
3 rounds of
15 back squats
15 weighted push-ups
SS: 3x115/35
KL: 3x135/35
We both had expected this to be a little easier than it was. Initially the plan was to do 20 squats and 10 weighted push-ups, but I think evening it out helped the feel of the workout. This is one you should do with a partner cause I think it'd be pretty hard to get the weight on your back for the push-ups otherwise.
This workout was definitely a burner, my squats sets all broken after the 7th rep, push-up sets went 10-5. KL had all sets unbroken.

More of a metcon component than I thought, especially if you hit the weighted push-ups right away.
Not a bad grease-the-groove kind of workout...
