The Tetons will never look the same
Packed the van again for a super long climbing session. Let's see how Kenway's predictions panned out:
- Joe is going to pull that overhang on his 8+
Made it to the overhang, and got hamburger hands to show for it! - Joana is going to get on a 10
Climbed nothing less than a slabby 10 set by Obe himself. - Brian is going to pass his lead test, and probably do a split
Check and check, but not both at once. - Guillaume is going to pick up a lady or two
Ummm, no comment. - Eric is going to have new shoes
I will give Kenway this, although it is only technically true. - Kristy is going to be on time
Early even! - I'm [Kenway] going to be sore
Almost surely.
Oh, and remember folks, as a wise man once said:
What happens at climbing, stays at climbing.
Jade and Maggie joined us (those of us without fancier dinners to go to anyways) at Stand for burgers and beer (sorry J, the only picture I could find is of a laminated menu, but maybe this post will help make it clear that they were not supposed to be laminated).

And for the record, not only did Brian ace his lead test - we'll work on the belaying ;) - but he was absolutely fearless on his first real lead, a crimpy 10 with poor clipping stances. Quite a big lead fall to take as your very first one!
Brian, does the "stay at climbing" include those bright blue pants?
Oh no you didn't!
You wear those blue pants next time and I promise I'll rock a pink shirt just for you...
Hey, on another note, just got back from a short sprint workout - did you run that local 5k you were training for?
Skipped out on that 5k.
The blue pants will be there next time. You know what that means...
pink shirt it is... if possible, it will be a polo or oxford, preferably with chest embroidery
