Mono-lithic
Long climbing session at New Rochelle with Scott and Brian today. Strong work all around, everybody was pushing limits: Brian conquered the dreaded mono pocket and sent his first 11, Scott battled his tender adductors (you know, the "riding muscles") and really fought through the pump on some tough routes. I feel my footwork slowly improving, and am getting more accustomed to a sense of flow and positioning - might have sent that project 12 if not for an inopportune slip, will have to be more careful and controlled next time.
Also watched Obe Carrion and some other strong climbers working 12s and 13s on lead. Lots to aspire to, but two things stood out in particular: core strength and body control on the overhanging routes, and the precision with which they placed feet and shifted weight.

Endurance sucked today, but there were so many good climbs. Watching Obe was definitely awe-inspiring; incredible strength footwork, he sure made the 5.13 look easy.
