Warm-up:
0.25 mi run
Crossfit WOD 031608
"Nicole"
As many rounds as possible in 20 min of:
400 meter run (treadmill, incline=1.5)
max rep pullups
BL:
6x 400 m
6x pullups (20,15,10,10,10,3 [saved by the bell]) = 68
About 45 seconds lost each round getting from treadmill to pullup bar, back to the treadmill and restarting the damned thing. Runs were at about 7:30-7:40 min/mi pace; running is slowly but surely getting less excruciating. I dropped off the pullup bar pretty quickly, didn't try and hang around until my forearms exploded. I was smoked after this; I sat in a pool of sweat for 10 minutes afterwards.
Somehow it seems that running 1.5 miles and doing 68 pullups would take less than 20 minutes?

Hardcore... These timed max rep rounds workouts are kind of an ingenious torture: do you work for more reps, or finish the damn thing quicker?
Ingenious indeed.
I'm starting to think that Kelly Moore is an alien, her score:
"
6 rounds - 400 meter runs, 216 kipping pullups:
53
40
31
30
30
32 - made 32 as the buzzer sounded; still good for a few more reps.
Succeeded in my goal of 30+ pullups per round, but my runs were less than inspiring.
"
Seriously, WTF?
