Plastic power preservation
Picture above is of the West Ridge of Pigeon Spire in the Bugaboos, often called the best 5.4 in the world. Bugaboo Glacier Provincial Park is located in the Purcell Mountain range in eastern British Columbia, just west of the Canadian Rockies.
Made a late afternoon visit to the Rock Club in New Rochelle. Congrats to Eric for getting his belay certification, but special kudos to him for not dropping me on my ass (two hands on that brake end...). We worked our way through some tough routes, including the funky one that Brian and I did previously with a little cylinder for your left hand, a gaston for your right hand, and a foothold staring you right in the chest, all over a little roof.
Need to keep plugging away at those 11s to get my grip strength up, but easy 10s would be great for technique and endurance. Finished off with some Veasy bouldering - may try warming up with some bouldering first next time...
