Quality over quantity
Took the weekly trip to New Rochelle to climb. Eric was only 30 minutes late! One of these days he may actually claim the free lunch that awaits him when he arrives on time. Everyone picked routes at their limit today, and got to try out some different techniques. There was some crazy stemming, laybacking, finger pockets and tricky sequencing. A few really tough problems set by "Koots" (a trio of 5.9-/5.10-/5.12).

Ouch ouch ouch, I couldn't use my shoulders the rest of the day...
It probably won't come as a surprise that I didn't go to the gym yesterday.
My shoulders and neck were still stiff this morning. Definitely pushed hard and felt it. But, thinking back to that stemming and some of the other routes it was a really good day.
Yah, I think you experienced what a committing move is!
Oh, and that video is insane. Or rather they are insane. Must have been a rush tho. I must admit, I was relieved to see that they were only insane and not actually suicidal--that double tethered catch line must have been exciting if you actually ended up hanging under the slackline...
