Ankles & Deadlifts
A surprisingly ok combination.
warmup:
2 x (10 pull-ups, 10 dips, 20 decline sit-ups)
DL to 135#
5x10 DL (5x195#) (10, 6-4, 5-5, 5-3-2, 5-4-1)
cooldown:
1x (10 pull-ups, 10 dips, 20 decline sit-ups)
Doing the pull-ups was MUCH harder after DLs. No surprise there. I was surprised I got them done at all, even though I had to break them up. The DLs felt really great, I tried to do them as quickly as possible with little rest in between so the grip really started failing towards the end.
No ankle problems encountered.
