It was great to work on technique today. I'm looking forward to getting the motion down better.

Everyone looking good today! I would note that making these lifts is as much mental focus as technical ability. Make sure to take the time to set up and focus. And you have to commit; the greatest danger when Oly lifting is doing the lifts slowly!

Oly lifts are so much more precise than they look, particularly the squat. With (relatively) lighter weights it's easy to throw the bar around too wildly, for me either too high or too far back.
Getting the bar up wasn't too bad for me, maintaining the balance dropping down and turning around at the bottom was way more difficult.
For snatches, a big part of the problem is I do my OHS slow and steady, I think it's time to start practicing the drop and turnaround.
Just be glad you didn't do this.
whoa, that was crazy. Actually, watching that video sparked a whole adventure of weightlifting blooper goodness. I particularly like the one where the man passes out after cleaning.
Yah, I thought for sure that guy was going to die.
