Warm-up:
walking to gym in insane heat
overhead squats
front squats
good mornings
5x5 overhead squats (85,95,3x105)
3-3-3-3-3-3-3-1-1 deadlifts (205,225,3x245,255,265,275,285 [just missed lockout])
4x12 face pulls (30,3x35)
For whatever reason, couldn't bring myself to box squat today cause I had deadlifting on the brain. 275 went up very easy, but I ran out of gas on 285. I have a fairly strong preference using the over-under grip (left facing up), was using the preferred 2-1 in the last sets. Should avoid this next time so I don't develop some weird hunchback walk.

Nice job Brian, you're getting those DL weights up there. I think just walking around in this weather is warmup enough...

i dunno, some people go for that hunchback thing. sure you cold find a whole community of admirers online...

Scott is back and better than ever. We're going to go for some makeup punishment tomorrow. Too much of the good life requires a little karmic balance...

45 pound Thruster, 50 reps
35 Pull-ups
We were cosidering that this morning, but after I did a few rounds of the barbell complex I realized that many thrusters may not be feasible this early. Blog post to come (in like 2 minutes)
