The Filthy Fifty

For time:

50 Box jump, 24 inch box (we used three stair steps)
50 Jumping pull-ups
50 Kettlebell swings, 1 pood (we used 35# dumbells)
Walking Lunge, 50 steps
50 Knees to elbows
50 Push press, 45 pounds
50 Back extensions (KL did Good mornings with 45#)
50 Wall ball shots, 20 pound ball (we did thrusters, 20# dumbell on each arm)
50 Burpees
50 Double unders (we subbed tuck jumps for this)

KL 41:20
SS 57:10

Oh man. This workout was seriously terrible. It just goes forever. For the last set, both of my calves cramped on the first tuck jump (not that I'm complaining, I'm just trying to give you an idea of how the workout was). This one is totally a keeper.

This one just keeps going and going and going...

First time doing the Filthy 50, think my form was lacking in the jumping pullups (lower not slow enough) and the KTE (just not getting up there at the end). The box jumps and thrusters and burpees were killer.

I took a look at that WOD, decided to do it, then 5 minutes later realized how insane that would be. Impressed you guys plowed through it!

What's the standard on a jumping pullup? Is the negative supposed to last a certain amount of time?

Also, are the kettlebell swings two-handed, or did you do 50 per arm?

Not sure about the jumping pullup, but the FAQ seems to mention emphasizing the negative phase - may be targeted more towards developing strength when the jumping is used as a sub for a strict or kipping PU.

We did 50 two-handed swings, which is the consensus on the CF message board.
